Sunday mornin' TV gonna put your minds at ease

Give em' all some bread and a little bowl of broth
Try and lower the fever with a cold face clothe
She makes em' feel secure with every kiss upon the head
But demands with such a temper that they never leave the bed

The children only wish they could leave the little cell
But she'll take away the TV and she'll give em' lotta hell
A little bit of freedom just ain't worth all the strife
To lose out on that comfort zone of watchin' Nick at Nite

Yea she tucks em' all in and then she closes the door
And then she lights up a smoke, before she starts another chore
Back down in the kitchen add the Ricin to the soup

The Corpos Stoughton, Massachusetts

The Corpos formed in Spring of 2012, as a lo-fi punk band named The Rip-Offs. An EP, "Mid-Atlantic Love Songs" was released under that name in Feb. 2013. In July of 2013 the band changed the name to The Corpos, a reference to Sinclair Lewis' "It Can't Happen Here". We released our first album under this new name in Oct. 2013.
